Raise Away got its start in November 2018, but things really took off in 2020 when we stepped in to help fulfill almost $600,000 worth of trips for over two hundred nonprofits after a competitor went out of business. This pivotal moment showcased our commitment to making an impact for our partners.
We succeed by putting Nonprofits, Donors, and Vendors at the forefront of all our decisions. We do so through innovation and a deliberate effort to break away from traditional norms. For example, we recently negotiated a better deal on a product and reduced the nonprofit cost by 13%. In an industry where others keep the savings for themselves, we ensure everyone benefits.
The founding mission was to revolutionize the consignment travel industry. It was known for being overpriced, leaving nonprofits with minimal gains. We believe in maximizing value, ensuring items sell for at least double their cost. We’re proud to say that on average, our items go for 135% over the nonprofit cost at auctions, significantly boosting their fundraising efforts.
Looking ahead, our goal is to deliver outstanding fundraising solutions, whether through auctions, our upcoming NPOW (launching Q1 2025), Google Grants, or valuable connections. We aim to build long-lasting partnerships with nonprofits, always considering how we can collaborate for the next decade.

At Raise Away, we live by our core values: Fun, Unique, and Creative—FUC for short (we know, it makes us laugh too). These values shine through in everything we do, from our logo to how we interact with clients.We strive to be memorable.
Describing the culture of a 100% remote team can be tricky, but we’ve nailed it with our quarterly team get-togethers called RAGEr (Raise Away Group Event r).
Every quarter, we fly everyone out to focus on the three C’s—Creativity, Connection, and Culture. These events are all about hanging out, having fun, working closely, and building strong relationships. We infuse fun into everything we do.
For example, at our upcoming RAGEr, we're hosting a murder mystery dinner with a private chef serving a 4-course meal. Everyone will dress in character and play a role. Our team embraces these events wholeheartedly—last time, we had team competitions where everyone dressed as Power Rangers, tackled an escape room, and rocked karaoke.
